Vijaya Bank PO Exam



Vijaya Bank is the most reputed, leading and nationalized bank that conducts the Probationary Officer exam for the eligible candidates to be recruited as Probationary Officer. On clearance of exam candidates have to go through Probation Period (training) for 1 year. Candidates have to apply online for registration into this bank.

Pay scale:

Rs. 7100 – 340/16 – 12540

Eligibility criteria:

•Candidates must possess a nationality of India.
•Candidate must be more than 21 years of age and is less than 30 years of age to be eligible for this course.
•Candidate must have completed graduation with at least 55 % aggregate from the recognized University to be eligible for this course.
•Candidate must be computer literate to be eligible for this course.


Selection Criteria:

•Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of Written Exam
•Written Exam comprises of:

1.Objective test :

a.300 marks for a duration of 150 minutes
b.Consist of Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness on socio economic developments and test of English language.

2.Descriptive test :

a.100 marks for a duration of 60 minutes
b.Consist of assessment of wealth of ideas, higher order cognisitive abilities, organization of ideas in a logical coherent manner, written communication skill, etc., in a concise manner.
c.Candidates have the option to answer Descriptive paper in Hindi or English.
d.The Descriptive test is only a qualifying test.
