Bank PO Exams 2011

Oriental Bank of Commerce is an Indian national bank that invites all the eligible and aspiring candidates to work with them as the Bank’s Probationer Officers. Bank conducts Probationary Officer Exam in which selection is done on the basis of the merit obtained by the candidate in the written objective test and the descriptive test. On clearing the Bank PO exam candidate has to under go a special training program designed by the bank. Oriental Bank is one of the reputed banks that provide the recruitment to the candidates for the post of Probationary officer.
Eligibility Criteria:

1. The minimum age of the applicant must be 21 years to be eligible for this designation.
2. The applicant must not be more than 30 years of age.
3. The applicant must be a graduate from a recognized University with at least 60% aggregate for Science stream and 55% aggregate for other streams and categories to be eligible for this test.
4. The candidate must be proficient in computers and must possess the basic knowledge like MS-Office, sending and receiving E-mails, using Internet, etc. the candidate is required to submit a certificate in support of this computer related qualification.
5. Candidates with additional qualifications as MBA< CA< CFA<MCA etc. shall be preferred.
6. The applicant must be a citizen of India.

All the applicants who are eligible according to the aforesaid guidelines have to appear for a written test followed by a descriptive test to be recruited for the post of the Probationer Officer. The selection is entirely based on the basis of successful performance of the applicant in both the tests.
