Canara Bank PO Exam



Canara Bank is one of the reputed banks of India that invites all the aspiring Indian candidates for recruitment as Probationary Officers. Every year Canara Bank conducts an objective type examination for recruiting meritorious candidates for the Post of PO. Probationary Officer is the post that requires the aspiring candidates who need to start their career in banking.

Eligibility criteria:

1.Probationary Officers:

•Candidates must have cleared 10+2 level with at least 60 % aggregate.
•Candidate must have knowledge about General Banking.

Important dates for recruitment as PO in Canara Bank:

1.For Probationary Officers & Specialist Officers:

•Commencement of online registration: last week of December
•Last date for submission of application forms along with DD: last week of January
•Date of written exam: mid of march

Selection Criteria:

•Selection of candidates depends on the performance in the written test
•Short listed candidates have to appear in personal Interview conducted by Canara Bank.

Details of Written Examination:

•Written test will be completely of objective type consisting:

1.Test of Reasoning
2.Numerical Ability
3.Clerical Aptitude
4.English

•Negative marking will be applicable
